What counts as local here
Anything inside Burnaby and the towns right around it counts as local for us: New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody and the closer parts of Vancouver. It is billed by the hour, with the clock starting when the crew arrives at your door and stopping when the last piece is set down at the new one.
Crew and truck size are matched to what you own rather than the number of bedrooms on a listing. A one-bedroom rental near Edmonds might take two movers and a smaller truck, while a family house near Burnaby Heights usually needs four movers and a full-size box.
A typical move day
The crew arrives in the window we agreed on, walks the rooms with you, and pads the door frames and any tight stair turns before anything gets carried. Furniture is wrapped in moving blankets, drawers are secured, and the load goes on the truck in the order that keeps it stable on the road.
At the new address, boxes and furniture go to the room you name, beds are put back together, and we walk it with you before we leave so you can check nothing was missed.
Towers, walk-ups and everything between
A large share of Burnaby moves involve a building of some kind, whether that is a Metrotown highrise with a booked freight elevator window or an older walk-up near Kingsway with three flights and no elevator at all. We ask about the building during the quote so the estimate reflects the real work rather than a guess.

How the quote is put together
For a local job we estimate the crew size and hours from a walk-through of your home, either in person or over a video call where you carry a phone from room to room. That walk-through covers big furniture, box counts, stairs and anything unusual like a piano or a hot tub, so the number you receive reflects the actual job rather than a guess based on the number of bedrooms.
Once the walk-through is done, the estimate goes to you in writing before your date is locked in, so there is nothing to argue about when the truck shows up. If the scope changes on the day, such as an extra room of boxes nobody mentioned, we tell you before we load them rather than after.
